We all know that prospecting is the lifeline of any insurance professional. Luckily for us, our services are needed now more than ever. I know you’ve heard me say before that when things get tough, the home service distribution system of insurance does better than any other. That’s mainly true because of the face-to-face contact with our policyholders.
I would like to suggest a couple of prospecting ideas for you:
- Place a fishbowl or nice decorative box at a restaurant giving away lunch or a gift card to the winner. You will get names and phone numbers of people to contact.
- Host seminars! Senior citizens especially love seminars. Most pastors are happy to work with you on this type of community service. You could get a local funeral director to come in and help you. They could talk about how covid has affected the funeral home business and the cost of funerals today. This will set the stage for you to offer solutions for those issue.
Get creative folks and find ways to get in front of people. Good luck and good selling!

This tactic is really pretty simple: increase your activity. I’ve talked about activity before in this newsletter, but I think it bears repeating. Activity is the lifeblood of sales. You as a sales professional must constantly look for a way to get in front of people. With tax season upon us, there will be extra […]

And just like that, 2022 is almost drawing to a close soon. We have had some really positive things happen this year, and we have also had some challenges. But as always, our agents and managers find a way to succeed. As Christmas approaches, we certainly want to remember the true meaning of Christmas, but […]
