Prospecting and new sales are always a challenge for any insurance agent, so sometimes it’s best to go back to the basics that a lot of us did when we first started.
Project 100—where we sit down and list as many people as we possibly can that we could go talk to or people you could take your manager to talk to. This could be family, friends, people you do business with such as the man that runs your cleaners, grocery store, gas station, or maybe your pastor. These are all people we sometimes overlook as potential prospects. They may be wondering why you’ve never talked to them about their insurance coverage.
Don’t be the best kept secret in town!! Let people know what you do! Be proud of what you do for a living!
