December is here! Christmas will be here before you know it and another year will come to an end. As usual, you have all helped to make 2021 a successful year for Security National, and you should be proud.

As we approach year-end, a big part of our company’s procedures is goal setting. You, as an agent, should also set your own personal goals. More importantly, you should write your goals down. Your goals may be to increase your income, buy a new car, payoff credit card debt, take a vacation, etc. Whatever your goals may be, there are several things that have always proven to be good practices when it comes to goal setting.

  1. Goals should be attainable.
  2. Goals should be measurable.
  3. Write your goals down.
  4. Review your goals quarterly to see how you are doing. You may find that you need to make adjustments here and there.

If you need any help setting goals or if you have questions about the amount of production you need in order to reach your goal, please don’t hesitate to ask your manager. They can help!
