I talk a lot about family insurance reviews. This is for two good reasons: 1) I feel like we owe it to our policyholders, and 2) it can be an excellent prospecting tool.
Do we ever take the time to look at our own situation to make sure we are prepared for whatever comes our way? How can we really advise our policyholders about what they need to do if we haven’t cleaned up around our own back porch?
If your coverage is adequate, you will know the questions your prospect needs to answer to know if their coverage is adequate. If it’s not and you choose not to do anything about it, you will know the objections you have to overcome. But my guess would be if you can’t overcome them for yourself, you won’t be able to overcome the objections from your prospect. If you recognize your shortfall and correct it, you have a powerful message to share. Lead by example. People love to follow a leader.

“Sales is nothing more than the transference of feeling. If you can make the customer feel the way you do about your product, your customer will buy your product.” Zig Ziglar If you think about the above quote by Zig Ziglar, it makes a lot of sense. I think the question we have to ask […]
This tactic is really pretty simple: increase your activity. I’ve talked about activity before in this newsletter, but I think it bears repeating. Activity is the lifeblood of sales. You as a sales professional must constantly look for a way to get in front of people. With tax season upon us, there will be extra […]
