Every insurance agent I have ever known wants leads. For good reason too, because that’s where activity comes from and leads lead to sales. Well, I have good news for you! Security National has developed a tool for us called LeadHub, which will generate FREE leads for you.

LeadHub is still being fine-tuned in order to provide us with the best results. As of now, leads consist of policyholders with upcoming birthdays and where death claims have recently been paid. These leads will allow you the opportunity to build a relationship with these policyholders and hopefully help them with any Insurance needs they may have. It will also provide you with a referral base. For example, if you are wishing them a “happy birthday,” you can bring to their attention that this is a perfect time to add any additional coverage before their age changes and premiums would change.

If you are calling on a beneficiary where a claim was recently paid, you would first want to offer your condolences for their recent loss. Take your time and don’t rush. The person you are talking to may need someone to talk to so just listen to them. Then ask if they were happy with how the recent claim was handled. Again, this is a time to build a relationship. Use your relationship building skills to hopefully gain a new policyholder.

These leads will create activity for you, which will result in sales. Good luck, and have a great June!!

Sometimes we are our own worst enemies. An idea, and a fun way of prospecting, is to establish a point system to work each day. […]
